250 Podcast Episodes!?

In 2011 I first fell in love with podcasts and listened to them non-stop. In 2013 I finally started my first podcast and it was an absolute train wreck where I’d end up belligerently drunk half way through the episode. In 2015, I quite drinking started a show and published multiple episodes every single week, ultimately ending it towards the end of 2015.

At this time I launched the current show The Bandrew Says Podcast and put out 8 episodes from 2015 to the start of 2016. I got a knock on the door from some intimidating people telling me the content needed to be destroyed, so I destroyed it and the show kept on going. 5 years later and we just hit 250 episodes, a number that I never would have imagined possible. 100 episodes seemed in possible. 200 seemed even more impossible. 250 seemed even more more impossible. Yet here we are.

Honestly, i don’t pay much attention to the number of episodes that have come out, and this kind of snuck up on me, but I do think it’s worth it to at least point it out and take a minute to pat myself on the back while I write this article. Thanks to everyone who has listened for 250 episodes, or 242 available episodes, and I’m simultaneously sorry that you’ve listened to me for that much.
