Today I review the first dynamic mic from Mojave, the MA-D. This mic gives a very bright sound, but it handles that upper end very well. It also has a slightly pulled back midsection and a slight exageration in the bass and low mids which yields a V-shaped sound. As far as handheld dynamics go, it doesn't sound like any of the 17 other mics I compare it against.

I was asked by the great Stargate Pioneer to be a guest on “Better Podcasting Chats with S.P.”, and I couldn’t say no. My favorite part of the discussion was discussing whether or not I would change the amount of information I disclosed about myself while using my podcast as therapy. Today I review the Audio Technica AT4033a which is a somewhat unexciting microphone, but a nice sounding microphone. It's a more midforward sounding mic compared to other AT mics I've used and has a less dominant top end but it does suffer from sibilance and have a self noise of 17dBa.

Today I walkthrough, explain, test and review the Rodecaster Pro II which is the new gold standard for USB mixers. I compare this to the preamp of the Rodecaster Pro 1, demo the processing, test the bluetooth, run an outboard preamp line level, and even record music using the instrument DI.
